CasingExpert Case Synthesis Checklist Use this checklist at the end of every case to deliver a concise recommendation in under 60 seconds. 1) Recommendation - State one clear decision. - Name the target outcome (profitability, growth, market share, cost, risk). 2) Why this decision - Give the top two supporting facts from your analysis. - Keep each proof point numeric when possible. 3) Business impact - Quantify expected impact range (best estimate plus downside). - Mention timing to impact (for example 6 months vs 18 months). 4) Execution plan - Give the first two implementation steps. - Assign owners or functions (commercial, operations, finance, product). 5) Major risk - Name the biggest risk that could break your recommendation. - Add one mitigation action and one leading indicator to monitor. 6) Decision trigger - Define what data would make you revisit the recommendation. Fast quality check before you stop speaking - Is the recommendation explicit (yes/no)? - Did you quantify at least one impact metric? - Did you include at least one risk + mitigation? - Did every point tie back to the case objective? Practice drill - Record your synthesis in 45-60 seconds. - Replay once and remove vague words ("better", "improve", "optimize") unless backed by a number. - Repeat until your close sounds decision-ready and executable.
